Dr. George John Georgiou was born 14th December 1956 and is presently a clinical practitioner in Holistic Medicine specialising in the treatment of chronic diseases. He is also an active researcher and author.

He has been educating himself for over 25 years and has been awarded a number of degrees and diplomas such as a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) honours degree in Biology/Psychology from Oxford Brook’s University, Oxford, England, a Master’s of Science degree (M.Sc) in Clinical Psychology from the University of Surrey, Guildford, England, a Doctor of Philosophy degree (Ph.D). in Clinical Sexology from The Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality, San Francisco, USA. He also holds a Doctor of Science (D.Sc) degree in Alternative Medicine from the International Open University of Alternative Medicine - his main research interests at present are studying the use of natural compounds in the detoxification of heavy metals.

He also has diplomas and degrees (all with distinction) in Clinical Nutrition (Dip.ION) from the Institute of Optimum Nutrition (ION), London, England; diplomas in Naturopathy, Medical Herbalism (M.H.) and Iridology (R.Ir.,MRNI) from the Holistic Health College, London, UK; and a Diploma in Electronic Impulse Therapy (Dip.E.I.Th) from the Euro College of Complementary Medicine, UK. He has also been awarded a Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine (DIHom.) from the British Institute of Homeopathy, Middlesex, England. He has a Licentiate Diploma in Chinese Acupuncture (L.Dip.Ac.,aM.A.C.Ac.-TCMI) from the College of Oriental Medicine, UK and the Cyprus Acupuncture Institute; and is a qualified Su Jok Acupuncturist. He is also a qualified Hellinger Family Constellations practitioner conducting ‘soul healing’ groups and individual sessions in clinical practice.

The DaVinci Natural Health Centre specializes in the treatment of chronic diseases, heavy metal toxicity and Candidiasis, along with many other health problems. His patients come from all walks of life including Presidents, Prime Ministers, Sheiks, CEOs, to the humble family person - he treats all with a healthy respect and a real interest in helping each one optimize their health.

On the research front, which is one of his loves, he has been the Principal Investigator for the World Health Organization in studies on AIDS and drug use, as well as other research involving alcoholism, drug abuse and sexual dysfunctions. He is also the Director and Founder of the DaVinci LifeSciences Research Centre, equipped with a PE 3000XL Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometer (ICP-OES) and a PSA Mercury Analyzer for research in heavy metal toxicity and detoxification. His research has led him to develop a unique, natural heavy metal detox agent that has been thoroughly tested using a double-blind, placebo-controlled trial with 350 people – he is the owner of a worldwide patent-pending for this discovery which is called HMD™ (www.detoxmetals.com).

He has lectured to Masters students in Psychology at an external campus for Indiana University, USA, and has been a prolific writer of health articles for the general public. He has written 4 books and had his own radio programme for 2 years, entitled' Human Sexuality on the island of Cyprus,' and is the Editor for the chapter on Cyprus in the International Encyclopedia of Sexuality, Volume 4.

This wealth of knowledge and clinical experience is now being transformed into the DaVinci College of Holistic Medicine - www.collegenaturalmedicine.com, of which Dr. Georgiou is the Academic Director. This has developed into awarding accredited degrees and diplomas – Bachelor of Science in Holistic Medicine and Doctor of Science in Holistic Medicine.

Wearing other hats, he has also been an Aviation Consultant/Human Factors (Aeronautical Medicine) and Crew Resource Management Program Developer and Facilitator Trainer (Crew safety) for a number of years to Cyprus Airways and EuroCypria airlines, given that he is also a keen Private Pilot himself.

The aims and objectives of the Order are:

3. To raise funds for all these humanitarian, organizational, and medical needs.
4. To promote peace and prosperity by diplomacy, cooperation and consensus; and not by confrontation.
5. To cooperate with IGO's (Intergovernmental Organizations), NGO's (Non-Governmental Organizations), and Governmental Organizations for purposes humanitarian and medical needs.
